![]() Now we move on to the 3rd connector which has the 5th channel but this connector is flipped so the flat side is up and if you wired this connector the same as the others you will find your Right/Left are now flipped to be Left/Right. Next you have the second connector and has channels 3 and 4 with the flat side down and it's the same stupid wiring order. Stupid, Stupid, Stupid design but as long as you know about it who cares. Connector 1 has channels 1 and 2 with the flat side of the connector facing down and the order of the connections being ( Channel 1 +, Channel 1 -, Ground, Channel 2 -, Channel 2 + ) did you catch that? It goes +- ground -+ something very easy to overlook and will result in you wiring speakers out of phase. There are 3 input connectors for the high input / rca input. So slap 1 for the designers on that brilliant decision.Ģ. The screw down terminals are big enough to take 8 gauge stranded wire which is TOTALLY fine for the power and ground but you will likely have some fun getting it to grab the 16 gauge speaker wires. Now the bad and why I think the designers need to be slapped.ġ. It's very compact and small so finding a place to put it is pretty easy. I'm running 4 JVC CS-DR620 6 1/2 speakers and 1 Pioneer TS-SW2502S4 10" subwoofer and it runs all of this without issue. Do yourself a favor and spend a little more money to get a quality amp that won't leave you pulling your hair out. I've not added locktite to the screw down terminals to keep them from shaking lose but the absolute appalling design of this amp had been a non stop frustration, I cannot in good faith recommend this amp to anyone. The screw down terminals for the speaker output will not stay in place, the vibration from being in a moving vehicle shakes them lose and then you get a lovely loud popping sound in your speakers. I've had this amplifier installed in my vehicle for just over 5 months and I've had nothing but issues with this amp. ![]()
